Well yesterday was a good day. We had breakfast at the Deli Cafe (see pictures) and then traversed Central Park and headed for the Chrysler building (Sat Nav said it was the Empire State Building) then we headed out for the real thing. Eventually we got there and after a genuinely nice walk we listened as our audio guide Tony told us about what we could see.
After that we came back to the Hotel and then set out to find the best cheesecake in NY - we did! Junior's! Then we went to see the Phantom of the Opera, which was fantastic. I found that it was excellently timed and the performances were flawless. The Phantom himself was superb and really sold his character. Unfortunately no photography was allowed so no pictures of that are up.
Today we're going to head out to see the Financial district, Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn bridge, so expect more interesting pictures soon..
